I just felt he was struggling...and seemed reluctant to go forward .
It?s easy to sit back and be solid against a poor team who have no threat in attack .

Dest was going forward all game. Was more of a winger than a full back in areas he took ball.

Mingueza is the perfect 'defensive' full-back to provide that balance when you have an attacking-minded LB

He is inconsistent, understandably and probably due to age.

He has great attacking flair and dribbling but he kind of sucks at fullback fundamentals. Knowing when to overlap, when to come inside, when to cross and when to attack the space. He just relies on his trickery and footwork, and when it doesn't come off he loses the ball. Needs coaching to instruct him about those fundamentals, otherwise he won't make it at the highest level
