Sergio Busquets

We replaced the goat midfielder because rakitic made it clear he was the best option, with performances.

Frankie just wants to be given the job.

That is a complete lie.

Rakitic was signed to be the starter and Xavi wanted to leave.... Xavi and Enrique both knew he didnt have the legs anymore.

It was Enrique who persuaded Xavi to stay and support side while on limited minutes.

Rakitic was given a role in team that suited him from the start.. and not replacing Xavi in same role.

Not even remotely similar.

Every time Busquets loses ball is skinned or runs out of position... it is the fault of FDJ for not replacing him in team.

About most pathetic argument have heard yet.

About usual level and shows how little left there is to positively argue for Busquets.

How could FDJ win the job? What kind of time given to prove himself? What formations etc?

De jong has started idk random number here & I'm sure it's closer to right than wrong, 60 games since being at Barcelona, at CM, DM, CB,
4-3-3
3-5-2
3-4-3.

So wtf are you even trying to say? He's been given every opportunity to make a position nis own.

Yes FDJ has started a lot of games and been best midfielder... been through that one.

Who is claiming he has not been given a chance to play? Bizarre claim.

Never has he been in to replace Busi or be main man at DM which you seem to think he has been given chance to do and failed.

You are not even making sense.

How should FDJ prove to Xavi he is the man to replace Busquets in the team? Minutes/fromations etc.

How was Frenkie given a fair chance to replace Busi, when Busi played 98% of minutes in that time. Frenkie played what, 5 games in 3 years without Busi on the pitch. You can't replace someone and win his place when you play together.

I love when jammy thinks he's been very smart by asking lame ass questions like.

I just answered you brah, he's been given the chance it multiple games, multiple positions, multiple coaches and still guess whoes starting? We all know it busquets.

Formation, minutes 🤣, that's old news he's gonna all of that & still can't take the job, try again.

Frenkie has been played at CDM plenty of times and failed to impress most of the time

In fact he has failed to impress almost anywhere

Even his daddy koeman couldn't help him

If I remember correctly, mascherano also played instead of busi in some games in 2014-2015 and was great at that role. Busi was NEVER irreplaceable.

Nah Masch didnt suit Barca at DM.

Pep realised that quickly.

Maybe by 14/15 when team more about front three he got away with it at times but never was close to replacing Busquets.

I can't remember quite well to be honest, but we had a pretty versatile midfield back then. Iniesta, rakitic (who was great then) busi, masce, xavi.. all played at some point or another. Luis wasn't so dependent on midfield of course having the best attacking trio anyone could dream of.

Most of de jong's truly excellent game under Keoman & Barcelona came in the 3-5-2 when he was in the back 3.

He was probably Barcas best player in Copa final from midfield. If not him he was close second to Messi.

The Supercup Final that season in midfield as well he was best player on park and scored in semi also when played well.

Griezmann was best player in that cup run but FDJ and Messi were not far behind.

For me if Xavi insists on playing Busi the best midfield is FDJ in there allowed to go box to box to support Busquets and offer options from defence.

Would mean on AM in Pedri and width taken by LB/Alba on left to allow Fati to get closer to Lewandowski.

Having two AMs posted up park waiting for ball is making it too easy to surround Busi and stop him getting ball and leaving him too isolated on the break.

Frenkie picking up ball and driving at teams will help collapse their defence at times which opens up space for others.

Too predictable for opposition to wait in shape and know where Barca players are positioned waiting for ball.

Casemiro's selling is futher proof that Florentino is the greatest and why we havent won anytjing in years.
Here, barca would have kept casemiro until he was 35 at least, just look all the years b?squets and jordi alba and pique haveplayed for free Here
Over there, as soon as they found so.eone bitter, they have him the boot
