No one is saying Frenkie would walk into Busquets single DM role and be amazing. What we HAVE said is despite playing in that position like twice in a year, he wasnt much worse than Busquets. We actually won both games..so it's safe to say he would do at least as well, or potentially BETTER if he started there REGULARLY.

Expecting a player to boss a position despite never playing it is just silly. What is even more ridiculous is using a player's performance that has barely played the position as a justification of Busquets importance or quality haha Especially after he was fucking awful just one week before.

And name one top team that Busquets would start as a DM. Bayern, RM, AM, Chelsea, City, LFC and PSG would all laugh at the thought of Busquets starting for them. He wouldnt even make it into one of the top 3 Italian teams...not just this season, but the past 4-5.

No, I dont find someone stating a player hasnt been able to cement his place in a position after only being started there twice as reasonable. And like I said, Busquets is awful and wouldnt start for any other top team.

Here is a couple of facts that Frankie de jong lovers will have to just deal with, mind you I don't hate him, I wish for him to be enough to bench busquets or deliver at the CM position, but so far nada.

So until that happens, here are the facts.

He will continue to be bench by a 34 year old.

He will continue to be benchef by a 19 year old.

He will continue to considered a rotation piece with a 18 year old who was playing youth football a year ago.

All while he is 25 and should be the first name on our team sheet.

The last league title we won, was the season before we bought Frankie de jong, we bought him at considerable cost to be the future of our midfield, since his arrival we have won a grant total of 0 league titles, and he has been nowhere close to WC, no well thinking individual would dear place him in the top 10 midfielders in the world, be bought him to be at least 10th on that list.

Until he can change these facts, I have nothing more to add, because Frankie de jong will keep winning the debate for me, by not being truly excellent, and by not being able to own the Midfield at 25 years old.
