We saw a great, fluid game state with Frenkie in last time and the other midfielders combining much better - instead of giving that a trial of just a couple more games to decisively get to the bottom of this issue and evaluate Frenkie as a pivot, he shoehorns Busquets back into the lineup again.

It's such an odd lineup. Home game versus Bilbao and the three bright differences in the Villarreal game (Frenkie, Fati and Ferran) are gone from this match. Well in Frenkie case he is still there but back to central midfield.

There was a chance to build cohesion as Busi, Raphi and Dembele had been disappointing of late. But no, Busi and Demb back in after one game- or rather 60 minutes of one game.
