He was to blame for the 1st 2 goals. The mob is over mats, as his terrible mistake was flashier, but the real one to blame for this loss is Busi. Don't know what happened to him, but I'd play Masch as dm now. It can't be much worse.

In 4-3-3 Lucho plays Iniesta too far away on left and Raki too far away on right it slows down his options for quick passes etc.

With Ter Stegen the defenders are passing back to him rather than quick short balls into midfield Busi thrives on.

Lucho usually surrounds him with slower players too far away so in defending he is lost totally exposed on break.

Thats my take on it. He doesnt look settled at all.

Yes, that makes sense. But he was 1-on-1 with Aspas too, and failed terribly. I think it's both things, his form and current tactics.

The guy is useless at the moment. Too slow and not aggressive enough to break counter attacks, losing the ball and making mistakes in every game that are costing us goals. But, he still plays and Lucho rotates Rakitic and Iniesta. What a moron.

This.

No excuses for MATS, but Busquets simply destroyed us since the beginning.

Busquets: "I'm the one responsible for the defeat and for the goal. I've the confidence of the team. I'll learn from it and work hard."

Nailed it. Passing options don't show themselves quick enough, so when his shielding of the ball fails, or the ref. doesn't call for fouls he's a turnover machine. And when he loses the ball it's really bad for the team, because everybody trusts him on the ball, and we don't usually take any precautionary measures in case he loses it.

That being said, no1 goal is on Mats mostly.

Mats is the one to blame for Busquets not paying attention in a crucial moment? Come on, the pass was completely OK and he sould control the ball.

I was surprised he was in the lineup today. Now it is time to try alternatives. I'd say Masch, as soon as Umtiti comes back. Gomes, maybe, worth a shot.
