Sergio Busquets

Looked about as comfortable as a one-armed trapeze artist with an itchy arse tonight. He has declined massively that's the reality but he hit new heights the first half especially.

Worst player in the last couple of months. The guy has declined drastically while being fresh but he can't fucking go on at all at the end of the season without proper rest.

The reason? Being overplayed because the lack of system doesn't let anyone who is a slight downgrade contribute enough. So instead of depending on a solid system we rely on individual play from our veterans. Can only get you so far at the end of seasons when they are knackered af.

Sergio has had many bad moments in matches over the last 6 weeks or so, his play has deteriorated--I think fatigue and age is working on him. However he does sprinkle in genius thus hard to sit him for a meaningful match.

Please no more than one match every 6 days from here on out. Any league match within 6 days of the CL or CDR final, sit him.

He was absolute shite tonight; but come on. He is a fucking Barca legend and one of the best DM's in the world on his day. He can have an off-day (tonight was 2 % on Rotten Tomatoes) but he can also deliver some pretty impressive outings (when rested and well-fed, the skinny fuck).

Let us show him the respect he deserves, he is no Phil Coutinho.

God awful today. Worst I've seen him I think. What happened to him? He used to be untouchable on the ball a few years back. Today he was a straight up liability. Our worst player on the pitch in my opinion. Needs to sort his stuff out.

Yeah he's been shit today. But he's also a DM playing with 2 CM who won't pass forward, and one of them playing hide and seek for 90 mins (hello Rakitic) because he can't cope with pressure. That forces Busquets, our DM, to do the CM job since nobody else has the balls to do it. Dude is basically trying to do whole midfield job by himself. Of course he's getting exposed.

The only key pass delivered today by our midfield was from Busquets, it ended with a goal. This isn't supposed to be his job. If CMs take their responsibilities and do what they're supposed to do, Busquets could concentrate on his DM tasks and he wouldn't struggle as much.

Give Busquets 2 real CMs and he'd still be the best DM in the world.

He is the weakest link. Very slow and makes too many mistakes nowadays.

Worst game I've seen from him EVER. Not exaggerating.

I don't see you criticizing your dear Valgreen for not subbing him. But as soon as Pep has one defeat you drag your ass in his thread faster than a jackrabbit on a hot date.

You're about as subtle as a Jehovah's Witness on a doorstep

It was a clear mistake to start him. Should have been subbed as well. No way he should play this weekend - we must use youngsters instead.
Next leg we can assess if he is rested/good enough and maybe play Rakitic as DM.
