His best game in a long time for sure! If there is one part of his game that I think Sergi needs to improve its defending against players who are running at him. He is a pretty good tackler when he is closing in on a player, but he bottles it a lot when a team is countering and he has to defend while backing up. He kind of just half-heartedly sticks a foot out and lets the player blow past him, and you can't do that as our sole holding midfielder.

The ref is an idiot, he books sergi with a second yellow for time wasting and even shows the red card, then realizes that sergi was only trying to shake his hand so changes his mind, then claims he booked llorente despite showing a red to sergi.. That card was for Llorente not Sergio. Sergio was just in the way.

About the English ref giving 3 cards, it was Croatia vs Australia and the player was Simunic.

Yep a ref mistake or fuck up..Canal + played the video which clearly showed Biscuits is the one taking the card not Llorente..

I saw it and I was surprised that he booked Sergi and didn't send him off but people kept saying it was Llorente who got booked so I let it at that.

If it was indeed Sergio that's a big fuck up from the ref.

If i was Villarreal i would demand a replay on the basis that you should have played with 10
