i think all the senier players ( messi pique busquets and alba) need to leave the club there finished we should be already thinking about about replacing them, there not good enough to play for us anymore

If I learned anything from Breaking Bad: no half measures. But I guess we have to be realistic. Next year we hopefully make the next cut. Maybe Pjanic could be a solution right now though - no idea.

Pjanic is a rubbish overrated player and he is 30 he finished
We have been refusing to buy a DM for 4 years. I don't understand why. The board must have thought they could transition FdJ into a purer DM, right? There's no way they'd neglect the position for this long.

My uncle always said that Busquets is the type of player you want in a team that is dominating possession due to his ability to resist the press and break the lines with his passing range, he always insisted that Busi played the game with his brain and wasn?t the greatest athlete and that he got exposed once Barca couldn?t hold the ball and had to play for a long duration without the ball.
At first, I waved off his talk but now that the years have passed I think what my uncle said is quite accurate, he always noted Busi is the type of DM you want when your team is playing the match in the opponent half due to his ability to position himself and retrieve the ball. However, now that we don?t dominate the game like we used which leads to Busi flaws becoming more evident to the natural viewer, him and Messi are the biggest victims in the current barca team (cant dominate the ball due to no Iniesta, xavi, alves...) of course; the latter poor workrate also gets exposed(can?t fault him for that, messi is messi).
If you want to get the best out of Busquets then you need to play him in a specific system which requires a very special type of players to be able to hide his flaws and magnify his strengths.
In our current lineup and ?system? (use that term very loosely) I would sacrifice a limb to have a Yaya Toure esque player next to Frenkie, he would compliment him very good and would make up in what Frenkie lacks (shooting, making excellent forward run).

The way he lost Valverde for the first goal says it all.
We cannot afford a DM that cannot run to track back, especially in Koeman's 4-2-3-1.
I don't know if Pjanic will eventually take his place after a few months, but club should splash some money to buy a quality CM/DM to partner Frenkie for the future.

A key player during his peak during the Pep through Lucho years.
But it's obvious that this guy is completely unsuited for modern football. He had the brains and the technical abilities for it but everything else he doesn't and last couple of years have really done a number on the perception of him in terms of his legacy.

When you watch him play, I think it's pretty obvious he lacks the speed go execute things. He is too slow in his decision making and defending.
