Thats a quite a big exaggeration, he was ok, nothing more. But he is a shadow of himself no matter what the reasons. He is still a good and useful player though, his pressing alone is very valuable. But in this team he would only press alone so it wouldn't be of any use. I really hope we go for some younger player that would suit us better.

He was dispossessed a lot, he made some really bad passes, he didn't succeed with taking on his man as he usually does, he also seems to lack a lot speed compared to earlier, add to that he made a really lousy pass that led directly to a dangerous opportunity for the opposition. So no, he was pretty far from brilliant, his work ethic will always be good though.

Firmino works in Liverpool because he has two 20+ goal widemen to play off of him.

I know he scored goals at Hoffenheim but that didnt really transcend at Liverpool.

If he were to come here then we wouldnt play to his benefit as we dont have the scorers to take advantage of it.

Frankly we would be best to see Ferran as our Firmino as he seems he can also be clinical in front of goal. Im surprised he has been a petition of Xavi yet we are looking to have him as a basic winger, and hasnt been tested in False 9 yet.
