Mascherano is definitely not Busi's replacement. Iniesta's role is a bit different, but the amount of mistakes he makes and bad passes is just beyond his norm.

Neymar and Iniesta are still playing despite bad form because there are no good replacements. Play xavi for 2 matches everyone would complain about how slow he is, no influence always side pass and what not. Lucho is using xavi very effectively right now. Playing him every match will make things worse.

This sums up yesterday's game. Look how much space there is in front of Busquets and no one moves into it. Messi should be there but of course he is once again in a phase where he can't be bothered to run more than 4 km per game.
