If he had an above average football IQ he'd be an immense defender. Whenever they zoom in on him you can just see the stupidity in his eyes.

Pepe has pretty much always been a better defender than Ramos, yet Ramos gets all the glory. Yeah, he has his big moments, like scoring an obscene amount of goals from corners, but as for actual defending, i haver rarely been impressed.
Pepe is actually a pretty calm defender, Ramos is the opposite.

to play devils advocate here, i don't think this incident shows his disrespect for xavi or puyol. after a game like the 5:0 he'd probably shove his own mother out of the way. It's said that he apologized personally to them first thing in the morning, so i don't see why he shouldn't respect them. The guy is hotblooded and proud to defend his colors, but he never appeared to be malicious or a fanatical madridista.

to be perfectly honest, there is no one in the current madrid squad who openly displays the same hostility for barca as pique does for madrid, and that's with barca being the dominant team at the moment.
