Marca is a rm based paper, totally biased for rm.

They are so biased towards RM right now they are in a war against Mourinho and make so much negative buzz around the club nowadays, mostly untrue. Have you read any of the actual conference reports? Not the ones that are skinned by AS and Marca who also twist the words said during the conference and pick the lines? The actual RMTV material taken straight from the video? I'd recommend you do so.

And then foreign papers take info from them. Lovable Marca.

As for the incident, as I said, both players did this and that, all of this disgusting, yuck, disgraceful, horrible and horrific things and then they shake hands after the game like nothing happened. I'd think what goes on the pitch, stays on the pitch and so do the players, but no, some people (i.e. media and anti-madridistas) will always look for things to complain about. Normal.

Players shaking hands after the game dont stop that kind of thing from being a bad and reprehensible attitude. We shouldn't find them normal or ok, just because it happened on the pitch. And I mean in general, I dislike that kind of stuff from any player, and even more if it was a Barça player. You shouldnt look for excuses for that kind of behaviour.

I don't like this stuff, but I don't care about it for the following reasons:
1) No evidence he spat directly at the player, Marca manipulation as far as I'm concerned until they show a good angle replay to prove it
2) Costa has been on fire with headbutts and crazy tackles (ankle breaker on Ozil) so he can go rot in a hole
3) Despite the shenanigans the players themselves let the incidents slide, because they know there is no point dwelling on it. They are grown men, they know what they are doing on the pitch and if they shook hands I'm sure they would be just as willing to say sorry to each other for what they did.

Firstly, he didn't call him Mono Burgos, the reporter who asked him about the incident on the bench did and I doubt Burgos even cares about the whole thing right now in this moment. Things happen in football, it's a man's game, you'll always get some banter and mind games. And that particular thing, again, blown completely out of proportion by Marca.

That paper for years has been guilty of hiring and firing managers and Mourinho is the first one to fight back against it, that is why they print all these sensationalist articles and increase the amount of negative information as the team is going through poor form just so they can use it to get more sales and readers. But you don't care about it do you? You don't care about what Marca puts out as long as it makes RM look bad, hm? Where is the proof Ramos spat directly at Costa? Why did they mention the incident, but not the fact that the players let it slide at the end of the game? Why is there so much rumors about poor and untrue situation backstage with Florentino who is supposedly pissed off with Mourinho? Because Marca and AS are sensationalist assholes looking for attention, just so they can make money off of the situation and make Madrid own-fans dislike the team more instead of supporting them through tough time. And they will be particularly successful, because they won't have a manager point out their reporters' stupidity during every conference. I ask you again, have you read how many times Mourinho asked them not to ask pointless questions about his future and they STILL asked them instead of being interested in the game that should go down that evening? How many times did they ask about poor morale and him losing the control instead of the actual football matters, like the approach to the game? Ever since he went as far as to embarrass these reporters by responding something like "this question does not deserve an answer" and indirectly tell them they are liars when they said he has not prepared for the next season, Marca started fierce offense against him. The information they put out has such low credibility that it is not worth leaning on in any case.

Marca and AS do more to damage Madrid then to help them, they have caused so many bloody problems, I'm surprised their even allowed at press conferences. I don't know how they get away with it, but I doubt they realise they are helping Barca alot this season due to their mission to get Mourinho sacked. If I was in Mou's situation I would have done a SAF and told them to GTFO and banned them from showing up to one again until they changed the way they do things.

Yeah, Ramos is a saint, Pepe never hurt a fly and Mou is just a poor misunderstood man fighting the powers that be.

No doubt there's a lot of truth to what you say about the Mou-related hate emminating from Marca, but it's not just because he stands up to the journos, but just as much because they genuinely dislike the work of the man, who's in the process of turning their precious royally renowned club into a spiteful group of hatemongers fronted by the king abomination himself.

...that, and more sales of course.

Marca do that to just about every manager though

True that, I remember Capello and Schuster had their share of problems with the media in general too, but was it of Mou-like proportions otherwise with the likes of Ramos, Pellegrini, Camacho, Queiroz and the rest of the post Del Bosque era managers?

Marca is hating on mou now, because the team is in shambles. That has nothing to do with ramos or costa behaviour, though. Ramos's hot headed, it's past the time he learns to deal with that.
I dont care for marca, just used their source instead of md or sport, so it wasnt a barça-biased paper. I dont get why they're after the players though, even more ramos, who seems to be one who has problems with mourinho.

That's the point. You should care, because there is no fully reliable mainstream source of information out there. Just don't take anything they put out there for granted, because it's likely to be ridiculously manipulated, whether it's the video material or the reports from the conference with words sequence rearranged or sentences removed and put into a different context. I think everything that is not a fact and only a theory coming from them should be questioned.

And they are not after the players, they are after anything that puts Mourinho under media pressure. Remember when they were pushing the idea of the Spanish vs Portuguese split in the team? Thing is they know Mourinho is both more resistant and more prone to media attacks so they will continue doing it. His comments are often controversial and they will do anything to put them into the right context in order to sell it to the masses. But at the same time he enjoys ripping them when they ask stupid questions and that's what pisses them off, because they lose credibility through being made to look like fools that they are, and they write more negative stuff about him. The circle closes.
So yeah, nothing against the players. It's the circumstances that allowed them to write more and more. First the departures of several players and taking Modrić to which they added the story about snubbing the signing of Cazorla. Then they got a great story from CR being sad. Then Ramos came out and caused stir by saying he doesn't agree with some decisions in the team to which they automatically added Spanish camp vs Portuguese camp. Then injuries and poorer results started to feed the doubts as to Mourinho's future. Then one Mourinho comment about Castilla's players main aim being the transition to the team rather than being 5th or 6th in Segunda, to which they latched on the Toril conflict (which to some extent may be true, but never as large as they made it). Then more poor results and questioning of motivation, which Mourinho continues to dismiss because it doesn't help the team to get back on track, but they continue to ask about it because he's likely to respond in a controversial manner which then they can use to write another story. And here we are with all the conspiracies, Marca saying Perez is pissed at Mourinho and knitting the web of behind the scenes lies. Typical stuff they do to an RM manager whose team is not in the great form. They blow it up and watch as it bursts. Very fucking loyal for a Madrid newspaper.

Spitting on the player and in the general direction of a player are two different things. And neither can be proved by this video.

Plus after the game both him and Pepe shaked hands and thanked Costa for the game. But of course both Marca and Dailyfail have articles on this, it would be a lost day without blowing something up out of proportion.
I loved the part 'in the general direction of a player'
Yeah, Because spitting on the ground is just too mainstream for ramos
You're just a fan in denial that one of his favorite players is douche and a disgusting twat, He got caught on cam, Case closed.
Don't try to twist things, It'll just make you more pathetic, Just accept this is your team and live with it.

But yeah, to stay on topic, Marca & AS do have an agenda against Mourinho, and they're printing whatever they can to put him in a negative image. I do believe Ramos spat on Costa. Don't approve of it, but could understand it as Costa was provoking him and Pepe throughout the whole match.
