Unless you play in a back 3 or give him a lot of freedom, Dybala's style of play is hard to fit in the modern game.

Barca had Messi for most of his time and even after Messi, Dybala had big issues with form and injuries so wasn't a good idea to buy him. Would have been hard to fit in Xavi's system if Lewy was playing.
