Sampaoli sacked, Jose Luis Mendilibar is their new coach.

And he's gone.

Actually feel bad for Mendi as I've liked him since his days at Eibar but Sevilla's version of amigos have done him dirty. Still won a EL last season though which will probably be the only trophy he'll ever win.

Diego Alonso sacked. 12 games without a win in La Liga and CL. It was really a great idea to bring a guy from Uruguay who never coached in Europe before.

Looks like they are negotiating with Diego Martinez who was recently sacked by Olympiacos but did a great job with Granada few years ago and previously also managed Sevilla's B team in Segunda. Quique Sanchez Flores is another candidate.

They've hired Quique Sanchez Flores. Probably the best possible option in current situation.

Fun fact: Alfredo Di Stefano was QSF's godfather.

Just saw that he was Olympiakos manager last season. So he did win another european trophy!

Pimi renewed until 2027.

Good that the club is showing some confidence in him, they also need some stability. But with how Sevilla are under this board also wouldn't be surprised if they would do a DDR to him and sack him in a month, lol. Especially considering Bilbao, Betis and Barca are their next three opponents.

Would be great if Sevilla would finally get a serious owner/president but probably nothing will happen.

Fabrice Pastor, son of the former president of AS Monaco Michel Pastor, has been running for some time as a future major shareholder of Sevilla. He has been interested in purchasing several packages, although he has not yet taken the step.

Among Sevillismo, this Monegasque businessman, strongly dedicated to the padel industry, is beginning to be seen as a “third way” in the face of the shareholder war waged by José María del Nido Benavente and the rest of the shareholder families, Carrión, Alés, Guijarro and Castro, with whom his son, the current president since January 1, has aligned himself.

For now, Pastor remains on the sidelines but is very attentive, since he considers himself a Sevillista. He has a plan, but he sets it to make a decision within a year.

“I am very attentive to Sevilla, we all have to be attentive, it is one of the clubs, one of my loves. Monaco has been the most important in my life, it is my country, but I insist, wars are not good. I am waiting, responsibly I cannot do anything lightly,” he commented in one of the events related to his company, A1 Pádel. "I have given myself a period of one year to see if there are real possibilities of growth for Sevilla. If all parties are willing, there will be no problems. The important thing is the club, not the rest," he adds.

The future investor in Sevilla comes from a family with experience. “I would resume what my father did in four years with Monaco. He took a normal, modest team and in four years we managed to play in a Champions League final. I think it is the goal of any Sevillista in Europe and if we don't aspire to the maximum, I don't think it's worth even starting,” Pastor said during his speech.
