It's a very weak squad. Many players on there are not even close to world class. When I saw Lucas Vazquez I thought it was a joke.

That is the shittest Spain squad can remember for years.

Spain has had a ridiculously good squad over the past 8 years, so not surprising. That being said, it is on paper still among the best squads in the world. Only behind Germany imo.

Edit: And given what's available, Del Bosque chose well enough... for now.

Edit2: My only complaint is the lack of Sergi Roberto in the squad :(

It's not that shitty. Just certain parts are shitty like goaltending and striker. But Morata and Adruiz could make good still if not Spain could just play 8 midfielders.

Spain's squad is of course very good, only behind Germany.

Regarding Lucas Vazquez, he's actually done well for Real Madrid so it's not a surprise why VDB took him.

Don't think he deserve it more than Morata or Aduriz .And doubt Spain will need more than 2 no9

Aduriz place is understandable whereas Morata hasn't really been impressive for Juve.

Considering Torres' great form during the 2nd half of this season, he's simply better than the latter.

Not because it doesn't really matter anyway now since VDB ignored Torres.

Still the worst Spain squad seen in a while. But could still win it as not a great standard from other teams bar Germany and maybe France.

Think there are a lot of poor squads going to Euro 2016.

Which is why I'm laughing. Casillas will be their #1 even though he's been shit for a couple of years now.

I guess, but that's more on VDB than Casillas. It really is ridiculous they didn't change after the world cup.

De Gea - Carvajal Ramos Pique Alba - Busi Koke Iniesta - Nolito Aduriz Saul would be my choice for the starting 11.

De Gea, Koke, Nolitio, Saul, and Carvajal won't start. You guys are giving VDB too much credit. Pedro, Cesc, and Iker will be in that XI and Spain will not win. They have good players but without good improvising from VDB, they will lose.
