Smart from De Jong not to go in that ball and just guide it in. Such an intelligent player. If he puts force in that he skies it.

The height and way he contorted his body to get on end of it was very impressive from FDJ.

Good play by Braith and Griezmann to open it up.

Yeah I was really surprised by De Jong, it was a very difficult header to adjust to. Guarantee you Braith would have skied it

You're welcome
serghei trying to downplay positives again. But when we lose the opposite he won't do, only pull us further down.

Braith had an easier one that hit his back but to be fair he has had some good moments and did well for goal.

He and Dembele should get a lot of room to run into this half.

If you're talking about that header from Mingueza's cross it was a considerably harder execution since he was pushed by the marker. De Jong was unmarked.

What? We had 1 good chance all half. What do you want me to say, that we've been great?

Braith had good chance from header and Alba had a decent chance, had a few chances outwith that as well.

Been good apart from first 20 odd which was quite chaotic from both sides.

What? That's obviously not true.

What? De Jong scored what, 5 goals for the club?

Obvious bullshit.

Meant more in terms of De Jong actually scoring in very important moments in big matches, not at home to the likes of Osasuna, when we were already 3-0 up. The only two big goals from Raki I can remember are the 2015 CL final and one El Clasico. Meanwhile De Jong scored 3 big goals this season alone.

because he relies on his fake shot so much he always needs to knock the ball forward.

Yeah, but hitting the ball like that isn't the only way to fake shot. He can use a much more composed/controlled version like Neymar, Messi, and Hazard like players do. I would say he doesn't have the technique, but he's shown much more composed fake shots in the past (Spurs goal). Also it's not just the fake shot, his last chance he dropped his shoulder to cut inside and basically kicked the ball straight towards the defender...

Make that 2 El Clasicos, plus multiple goals in CL. Vs City, Tottenham, 2 goals vs BATE I think. Vs Atletico, Bilbao, Sevilla and more. Scoring good goals was the least of Rakitic's problems.
