Be as well having one player up top that is doing fuck all to defend than two.

Put roberto in midifeld and take a gamble on Semedo.

How many of real madrid's regular "bench players" would be part of our starting 11? Isco/bale, Asensio, Kovacic maybe even Theo and Ceballos. How many of our starters would also start with Real Madrid? Messi, Suarez and MAYBE Pique? Real Madrid are playing without Cristiano, Isco, Casemiro, Bale and they're still insultingly superior to us. What's worse is we're still obviously carrying last season's midfield problems ( Which are anything but solved with Paulinho) and the board doesn't seem to understand that Dembele and Coutinho won't fix the problem and that we can't keep expecting 33 year old Iniesta to start week in week out.

Real have 10 outfield players that close down, move off the ball and have a lot of pace in side.

They are battering and outworking off the ball as much as anything else.

Barca are slow, have too many players hiding and too many like the front two just strolling about when Real have it.

That is as big an issue as ability in the teams.

Gomes isnt playing on the wing.

The two shitty fullbacks are taking all the width. Maybe a bit harsh on Roberto but Alba is fucking average at best.
