Thought Dembele was decent and certainly one of the better ones out of the lot.

Arthur I thought was pretty mediocre, playing too conservative for my likes and is not attempting to pass through the lines.

Nobody has looked really good tbh, looks like the squad lack in fitness.

The modern game is about speed. Peps city play a possession game but at pace.

Pep has dynamic players all over the pitch.
De Bruyne, Sterling, Sane, Kun. Bernardo Silva. They can all move and get around quickly.
We need to move the ball around faster and play more of a direct game. Arthur-Busi-Rafina are slow. Who is suppose to make direct runs/passes forward? Saurez is already slow as hell. We're too static.
I would play Arthur with Coutinho instead of Rafinha, simple reason Coutinho plays a more vertical game and much more dynamic than Rafinha.

He has played ok but has a long way to go to get near xavi's level on this performance. Has played a few misplaced passes and been caught on the ball a few times. That chance for Suarez was down to him been caught on the ball as the sevilla player knocked the ball into Suarez path. Still he hasn't been too bad for a first competitive game and dembele looks pretty sharp

Lots of tippy tappy but little forward movement. We need to more vertical/direct instead of just recycling possession all the time.

We look sluggish. Not quick enough to the ball. Lacking in match fitness.

We need to sign Frenkie de Jong. He's always moving the ball forward/finding ways to advance the ball.
