1998 I remember Zidane being sent off against Saudi Arabia, that Bergkamp goal and Ronaldo being complete shit in the final. I was 12.

edit: Also Spain 6-1 Bulgaria. Down depressed as a kid, but still remember Spaniards were in tears, because they got eliminated as well. Nigeria and Paraguay screwed them.

That clip gets shown on Dutch tv every other week cause of the commentary.

Next to dutch NT I closely followed R9. Mostly cause when all the kids in my neighbourhood rounded up and someone was gifting the Ronaldo panini card they all went nuts. I ended up receiving the card as I was youngest and was my first ever panini card. Then I knew was special player. I was also mesmerised by the Yellow green brazil jersey. Then also got gifted a fake brazil jersey from turkey lol. Brazil was also hyped during those years so watched them yeah. Also Fifa world cup ‘98 videogame lol
