I don't think he was bad, he was involved in build up play and was a handful for the United defence. A shame that VDS managed to block the shot but Titi deserved this win and will retire having won at least once every major competition he has competed in plus the title of all-time leading goal scorer for France and Arsenal. Many criticise his lack of goals in finals or select big games but it was Thierry who scored two vital goals at the Bernabéu, the away goal in Lyon and another goal in the quarter finals. He's played his part this season and we would have been a poorer side without him.
