The report says that Villas-Boas asked chairman Daniel Levy not to buy Erik Lamela, Nacer Chadli, Vlad Chiriches and Christian Eriksen, a quartet who cost the club £56 million. He also wanted Willian, who ended up signing for Chelsea.
