The squad is fine if we bring in a couple of defenders. It is best to get rid of dead wood like DosSantos and loan out young players that are not ready.

Don't you think we need a good bench??? Do you think we are immune to injury and "off formness"? What about different players to come in when we have to change tactics?

Then which la masia players are gonna help or are we gonna play with the same squad the whole season??? We need depth and rotation in small games gaddammit!!!!!!! This is so depressing I hate the idea of a small squad . When it gets to ucl semi finals they will be worn out . Sergi roberto is not enough .

Busi and Song are never injured and Messi's injury last season was a freak of nature. He is fit 99.5% of the time as well.

We then have 5 players up front, and 5 players in midfield (plus roberto), 8 defenders and 2 goalies. hopefully we buy two CBs and we're set. I consider thiago gone and thats fine. busi should play more as cm, just like xavi was converted from dm to cm.

well, "never" as in 99% of the time. obviously no player is immune to injuries, but some players are almost literally never injured, and song, busi and messi are three of those.

We have 5 attackers, 6 midfielders and 8 defenders with 2 GKs that is 21 players with Thiago Silva and another we will have 23 which is a good number. With rotation the players should be kept fresh and play plenty of minutes.

Well I'm still skeptical , yes we need a cb and a tall striker for tactical purposes, I know its hard to find so my expectations are low. I heard however that we will look for a low profile striker which I think is a good idea.

thing is, messi plays 99% of the time, so whenever he is unfit, his position demands that the replacement already is fully match fit and in form. a tall striker that sits on the bench 99% of the time wont be that person. thats why i think it is best to use players that already play alot as messis substitute, like cesc or alexis.

RAC1 says Ruminegge already communicated with Rosell.

That would be a first, Bayern talking to a club's president about taking one of their players. Never going to happen. If someone talks, it's Hoeneß, and if Hoeneß talks, it's to the player and not the president of the player's club.

Apparently, it was a simple "check's in the mail" call since the player has a release clause. (IE, fax us the paperwork so we can rubber stamp). Personal terms are easy in this case. Mazinho's already done that business.

While it would not surprise me if Bayern went through with the buy as they seem to be kissing Pep's ass left right and centre, they are most likely very aware of what this particular transfer might cause - not just in the team but also the fanbase, and that might be one of the factors they could decide against getting Thiago.

We shall see but Bayern rarely contact the other club, they do that using the player's rep.

Rosell's presidency will depend on who else he signs this window. Without a top level defender signing, I don't see this being a pleasant year in the Camp Nou. The vitriol directed towards his box will be bad for the team even if they play at a respectable level.

I'm confident we will sign a CB and probably Thaigo Silva although I'd much prefer David Luiz , myself .
