Transfers and Rumours - old thread

When Badstuber returns, he will have been out of the game for more than a year - I honestly doubt that he will play a serious/defining match unless Bayern has already won it and he is brought on to get minutes.
Well yeah its gonna need sometime,12 months out are a lot.Propably he will be ready for 2014-2015 season

Yup. Cannot see him being a serious competitor before that.

Speaking of cruciate ligament ruptures - off to play my first footie tournament since my injury in December 2012 :party1:

What ter-Stegen deal? There never was a deal and he is not going to come this season.

Well, yeh. Rumours is all what they were. But i was looking forward to his signature, and follow him at BM, if the one-year loan back to them indeed materialised.

As for Dante: keep dreaming ;)

We humans are nothing without dreams. :)

You german? would you rather see Pep jeopardise Boateng, and Kirchoff's intl career, by moving JM at the back, or have Dante come to us, so atleast they can afford some decent mins.

What one-year loan back to them? Both ter-Stegen and BM have vehemently denied any pre-agreement for years now and I think people should start believing them by now. Anyways.

Yes, I am German. However, unless Mertesacker is playing, I don't give a flying heap about Germany, and even less about Boateng and Kirchoff. Boateng is in the squad for the WC anyways as he could replace Schmelzer should he be injured and Kirchoff is not yet a prospect for the German NT as he has Höwedes, Boateng, Hummels and Mertesacker in front of him (and Badstuber but he doesn't count due to injury).

Given that I used to go for a run at least 4 times a week to train for my annual marathon and go to footie training twice a week, to be reduced to do nothing has been Hell ;) I am afraid of kicking a ball for the first time but it's just a head thing... Think once I've passed the ball for the first time and not ruptured anything, I'll be fine :D

Denial's always been a diplomatic transfer market tool, since time immemorial. I wouldn't give it much weightage, when estimating the plausibilty of a deal. And if what they say is indeed true, it doesn't mean Barca will not make an offensive before the TM expires.

Personally, the Dante capture would be relatively easier, as we're sending our best young prospect to their end on the cheap, whilst TS' owners have outright refused to negotiate.

Thiago yesterday informed Barcelona that he wants to join Bayern Munich. The clubs are now talking. A deal is expected today. [md]

Don't hold your breath on either accounts.
