So basically Bayern does break wage structure if its worth it is what you're saying.

I mean this could be a case of sabotage. Xabi was a definite starter on that team last season and was probably going to be this year again because they would need a DM in games versus us and in CL. He isn't completely washed up. He just can't play as many games as before kind of like Xavi but with a little more gas in the tank.

Madridistas are freaking out right now. The guy is getting hate tweets and others begging him to stay. Pep is a freakin genius!!

Bayern officially confirmed talks with Real about Alonso. He'll arrive for his medical in Munich today.

btw, it is interesting at what pace Bayern can strike on the transfer market these days. I mean, Benatia took 1 week from first rumors to being made official, Alonso, before yesterday evening, nobody even had a glimpse of what was going on and today the deal is almost done. Same goes for Benatia.
Reschke really is a welcome addition and a worthy Uli successor when it comes to transfers.

OK, I get it but I think they could've done better than Alonso ;)

Btw, doesn't that leave RM with Illaramendi and Lord Khedira as the only DMs?

They are rumored to sign Gustavo.
Given that WoB are not in particular need in that holding midfield position anymore and have already signed that guy from Atletico, who has made an impression thus far, it is likely to happen.

excellent purchase xabi for byern. i think pep wanted him for his long range accurate passes. from deep positions. Perfect to complement robben and ribery, and lewandoski on the counter


he could be a starter for sure when thiago is injurred or even play with him
