That'd be the best option if you ask me. If he turns out to be an absolute flop (which can happen, although I think he's too good for that) then we'll have VV at the club for competition - it'd be a one year buffer period to reduce the risks that come with a new goalkeeper. That being said, that option should only be considered once we get a CB (or two).

IMO : If they make a second bid, it means that they have a deal with Cesc, because if he really didn't wanted to leave, they wouldn't made a second bid, no ?
