And Valencia beat Almeria away on the weekend. Otherwise, Valencia will go to the EL and Sevilla will qualify for the CL from the league route as well. Sevilla also have to beat Malaga (who have nothing to play for) on the last day for all that to happen.
English teams are fine. Wouldn't mind getting United.

I hope you are proven right, I really do. But given enough time, money will have its inevitable impact. Continental leagues need some kind of response to the EPL cash-cow and fast. They can't be shit forever with all that money.

they first need to realize that the CL isn't the BPL and change their playing style accordingly. English clubs have been taken to school by so many foreign clubs lately

not very close sadly. But if Italian teams outperform them in the next 2 seasons they can overtake England

With all their obvious weaknesses and all their recent failures, their bottom lines keep growing and growing. At some stage (quite soon actually) this process will reach a critical stage and the best players in the world will be concentrated there. We can't rely on the English clubs being inept forever, we need a financial response to the EPL bonanza.
