I really don't see any problems for Barca in this CL campaign. Should be a comfortable win this year, I expect no surprises.

Nah, you can never tell. And I am expecting Bayern to hit really good form at the end of the season with a healthy Boateng and Robbery getting into groove. They have to get past Juve first of course.

But we are the favorites and team to beat right now, that is for sure.

You trying to jinx us, man?

The same can be said of Bayern. Martinez will be back soon, Boateng might even make it to the quarter-finals. The only one missing will be Badstuber.

I'm not a Barca-fan, so I don't need to be humble about it, and the worst thing that could happen is me jinxing it. I'd be okay with that.

O that makes a lot more sense then. I cant imagine ever saying that or thinking that about my team. I am always like OMG WE ARE GOING TO LOSE

A comfortable CL win without any problems? This isn't FIFA career mode.

He's not a Barca supporter so he is less emotional in his response. From an unbiased point of view it's easy to confidently make a statement that Barca will win it.
They are hailed by the media as the strongest team.

What you are saying now and his original statement are two totally different things. Is Barça the favourite? Obviously. Will this be a comfortable win of the entire competition without any problems? Don't make me laugh.

This is a statement that a Barca fan could make

This statement is perhaps a bit too bold(no pun intended) for someone who watches Barca closely, know their weaknesses and are thinking in what-if's(what if our defense is lacking that one particular match, what if Suarez has a dry spell, Busquets gets injured etc.)also because they are so emotionally invested. But I could see someone actually make and believe this statement who doesn't watch the teams as closely but has seen the current track-record of the teams and the hype created around Barca.

By the way when I said he makes a fair point, I wasn't referring to his initial statement but to him explaining why it's easier for him to make statement with the argument he isn't a Barca supporter.
