Expected nothing and still came out disappointed. City were pathetic. Not comparable at all to Juventus who at least won their home leg and had one of the best defensive spines in Europe to rely on. And what's with Hart and Kompany celebrating a 0-0 like a victory against a Madrid team without the Kommander and Benzema that still created the better opportunities? Pepdane got this.

We should destroy them at home, were we are much better. We are usually rubbish in away games, so this wasnt to bad. But ofc, City might pull a Chelski.

Better at home if you get a positive momentum. But I would say Bernabeu is not necessarily an advantage if City gets a goal and RM doesn't immediately respond.
That said it is in your hands now, ManCity created nothing, so why should they manage away from home..

I'm going to post this stat again : [tw]725062245336637440[/tw].
Many people here were saying that starting Vasquez is better than Ronaldo and that Real will perform better without him. If you watched last night's game you could notice that it's absolutely bs. Poor Bale was trying to carry a poor side but he couldn't do it alone. He played really well. When Ronaldo doesn't play it's like Benzema is useless. Bale tries to shoulder the responsibility and he does well lately so people are writing articles like " Bale plays better without Ronaldo, Ronaldo is shackling Bale etc". This season proved me wrong. Ronaldo is not yet to be discarded and he's a huge part of this Madrid side. IF Real plan to replace him we need to buy TWO starting attackers because he's that much of a presence.
It's a shame that Ronaldo won't be back for 2nd leg or more likely that he'll play while not being even remotely ready.

Hope Bayern can do the job tonight. I don't trust Atletico at all in a final against Real Madrid.

I think Bayern are going to get shell shocked tonight.

Atletico is the exact opposite, to the most extreme degree, of the teams Bayern face week in and week out. Incredibly difficult to break down, highly aggressive and unmatched intensity with a gladiator mentality no team on this planet can rival.

I also think Bayern are in for a big surprise.

I don't trust Atletico in the final either but really want them to win the trophy. It will be good for Spanish football to have another team rival the big two and cement that position and then go on and do the same in Europe. There is no reason why a club like Valencia can't do the same if they get the right people at the club, so Atletico becoming Champions of Europe would hopefully inspire others in Spain to get their act together.

It would also be good for us especially if we win the double as although Atletico would be champions of Europe we would still be the best in Spain and have beaten them 7 times of the last 8, so what does that say about us? If Bayern win it then they will have their 2nd treble and with Ancellotti next season could go back to back, in fact I think they would be more of a threat with him in Europe. If Real win it then that would be 2 from 3 matching what Pap's Barca achieved and Ronaldo would take home another Balon d'Or both of which would be unbearable.

I don't want City to win it either as they are completely average and have had their success handed to them on a plate whilst others like Atletico have had to fight hard for everything they have got. Any club could do what City have done with their owner financing them, only a special club like Atletico could do what they are doing right now.

We'll see. Atletico isn't facing some lame fatigued Barcelona side this round. Bayern is also much more of an aerial threat and Atletico won't be able to just clear all crosses with ease like they did against us. Plus, I don't think Atletico will finish this game with 11 men.

Who are the players who are gonna miss the game?

Seems like Bayern will only be missing Robben and Badstuber. Boateng is back in the squad after three months which will be a massive boost for them.

Not too sure when it comes to Atletico, but I know Godin is out.
