I'm disappointed at how mentally unprepared Atletico seem to be for the Champions League final. From all the space they've been giving Real since the beginning, how poorly they've managed the dead ball situations, way too many misplaced passes and Griezmann playing all for himself upfront it is obvious that their team haven't managed the pressure of the final quite well so far. Simeone better do something right in the break or Atletico ain't gonna take anything from this match by this approach.

Simeone needs to motivate them. They are still very much in it. They improved their game in the last 10 mins of the first half also Real looks a bit tired..

The league record the past few years disagrees with you.

Morten, that's La liga.

CL finals is a place for big boys.
In all sports there are teams who are awesome and capable of winning against anyone in qualifying rounds, group stage, knockout rounds... except in a final.
Atletico is one of those teams.
Awesome for La liga matches. And for CL matches UNTIL the final.
A final is for big boys.

One more thing: Last year we (Barca) won since we played on wings.
Now Zidane yells all the time: stretch them, stretch them, play wide.

On the other hand, our "geniuses" (Messi) tried to play through the middle against Atletico. Lol.

Just look at Real's attacks all the time.
They play on wings as much as possible and run away from the middle where Atletico will dispossess them easily.
Maybe Lucho and Messi will take a hint or two from Zidane...

Hopefully Atletico proves us wrong and come back from this, they cannot lose to madrid 3 freaking times in a row, that's just absurd

when they play their A game they're literally unbeatable

Even Pep got the memo during the 2nd leg against Atletico. He played them on the wings and won.

We pretty much always do that against teams that lay low, we do it against Atletico all the time(with varying degree of success), nothing new,

Simeone has to make a move. Real Madrid has changed the tune and are sitting back waiting for the 2-0 on the counter. With more possession on his side, Lucho needs to bring in Carrasco.

Maybe Atletico didn't want to tire their selves out and are afraid that they might fade again just like their last UCL final loss to Real. I think they will be more intense in the 2nd half.
