Anything but.

Next season he will be cut to size.

This win is Cl win of theirs is almost Chelsea like. Play all shit teams and then rely on the post and the upright to win it for you.

That Chelsea team beat a very strong Napoli team (who had Cavani and Lavezzi in their primes), Barca, and Bayern.

Unless you consider us and Bayern to be shitty teams, then no, this RM win doesn't compare to Chelsea. It's worse than their CL win....

Oblak really not a penalty killer.
But he is a world class goalie all around. Too bad Atlético let Real get into the PKs, that is on Simeone.

Really doubt Real would win with a great GK on PKs like Ter Stegen. I can't believe how lucky Real and Ronaldo can get, it's unbelievable. Always facing the shittiest teams and now facing a shitty Oblak who didn't even move anf conceded THREE PKs in the same spot.

Unfortunately Ronaldo will win next Ballon D'or despite playing bad in the final, just because he scored the decisive goal. Fuck life

Why Oblak and even Navas didn't commit to going one way or another is beyond me.

You have to take a chance. Unless you get a shitty penalty just standing there, making a late decision is stupid

Still think if Torres had gone off Atleti meant have capitalized on the momentum and won the game before pens. They were crying out for movement and energy up front to push for the second goal.

If he had come off how could they have replaced the injury to Luis and Koke?

Simeone did right thing by waiting to see what subs he had to make otherwise would have been down to ten men.

Torres was shit though.

I know the response will be 'ten men with Torres' but thats not how it really is.

This just tells you that life in general isn't fair, whether were talking about football or real life, Real got the easiest opponents in the CL and they still couldn't play well to convince they would be worthy of being CL winners, they've played garbage all year but they somehow managed to get in the CL final and win it, and against Atletico probably the hardest team to beat.

Not even gonna get mad, life isn't fair:lol:

Yeah for some reason I'm not that mad either. Part of me actually feels like laughing at how bullshit this is

It might be the bullshit manner we got knocked out in but I still think Chelsea's was slightly worse. Their luck was insane.

You're right. This is even worse then that.

I guess you could say we were lucky, with the offside goal, Atleticos missed penalty and a few chances. But really, after 60-70 minutes it was anyones game. I dont think any of the side were significantly better than the other. And yes, we had luck on our side, thats the nature of cup-competitions, especially penalties.

When Griezmann missed the PK, I knew they were still going to tie the score, do nothing in extra time and lose on PK shootout with Ronaldo scoring the last goal. Seriously, it felt like it was scripted.

Don't think Ronaldo will win it this year, he has been pretty crap all season I think people are sick of giving it him and will on;y do so if they deserve it

Congrats mate. At the end of the day Real were the better team.
