A campaign like this happens once every 20 years for a team. Basically, lucky getting 1st place in the CL group + lucky draws all around + going from 0-2 to 3-2 with Wolfsburg + easiest semifinal opponent in ages + offside goal in a final + win on penalties in the end. You combine all those and you realise something like that won't happen again for a long time.
I mean there is luck and there is LUCK.
Madrid's probably a solid 4th best team in the world this season overall.

Like the topless Ronaldo picure in the headline of every Norwegian newspaper right now. VG having that and another article about Ronaldo's tough childhood right now. We should flee this fucking country together.but the World is Dark and Full of Terrors I guess.
So much luck is strange, and there are always to avoid that. The setup copa libertadores use is much more fair, and takes luck out of the equation. I don't know why uefa don't use it as well.
I don't think Zidane is a great coach even with this title, so I think we should take our 3rd league in a row next season. But the prospect of Real winning the Champions League again next year would be too much to bear though surely they can't be that lucky again.
At least they beat reigning champions and a league runners-up in the final.... That with a legitimate goal!Regardless if we were lucky in this match, we will never match Chelski 2012, and its not even close.
