Arsenal are a funny side because on any given day, they are capable of beating anybody. Just blow hot and cold and not consistent enough to win the big trophies. Not a huge surprise tonight

One of the main reasons we won last season was incredible luck with injuries, this season we're struggling with them plus our lack of squad depth does not help.Add to that, no team has successfully defended the trophy........ hence I don't think we'll win it (hope am wrong though).

BM are my favs, then RM as things stand.Come Jan we might be in a better position, but we'll see....

Someone has to defend it and why not us. I'm still confident. We are doing what we have to do to get through the group stage and when we are at our best, which will hopefully come from January onwards, we don't have to fear anyone

Hard to know who would be pleased with that. Leverkusen lost a two goal lead and Roma collapsed at the end. Both must be kicking themselves

Compared to the other teams in the running, we actually stand to get a tremendous boost for the knockouts in the form of Arda and Vidal. By then the injured players should be back too. Luck permitting, I think we stand a good chance to defend the title.

Yup Arda, Vidal, even Messi will be well rested and hungry for football and we most likely will add at least one player in winter transfer window, so future looks pretty bright for knockout stages:D

No, they played to the best of their ability (except for Özil who was invisible and Alexis who made some dumb mistakes in his own half), but they also had luck on their side.

So they played to the best of their ability, but their two big players didn't? Ok then

It's too early in the season to crown anyone favourties. Bayern are the form team in Europe at the moment, but they were this time last season as well along with Madrid. How many people were saying this time last year that Barca would win it?

What matters is from January onwards, how the big teams cope with injuries (if they have any) and who's in the better form. The CL is too difficult to predict so far our.

As long as we have everYbody back in January when the knockouts start we will be fine

Fact we are joint top of la liga given all the injures says the rest of the league should be concerned
