Some decent match ups.

Arsenal v Barca
Juve v Munich
PSG v Chelsea

At least 3 half decent teams gonna be eliminated in last 16.Of those 3 games I'd expect Barca,Munich and PSG to progress over 2 legs, along with RM, City, Zenit, Wolf, Atleti.

That said, there's often one team that bucks the trend... let's hope it's Juve !

Maybe a stupid question but I also dont get this part, if for example Arsenal is drawn, Bayern and City cant draw them obviously due to the rules but how are they taken out of the bowl before the draw?

Yeah, you have to see the draw to understand it. On one side, there are 8 individual bowls for each of the group winners with balls all containing their name inside (let's call them bowls 1-8). On the other side, all the group runners-up are together in one bowl (let's call it bowl A). First, from bowl A a group runner-up is picked. So let's say Arsenal is picked. Then to find out who Arsenal faces, the organizer takes one ball from each of the eligible bowls in bowls 1-8 and puts them in a different bowl (let's call it bowl B). So in this instance, he would not pick a ball from the Bayern or City bowls because they are not allowed to face Arsenal. Then from bowl B, one ball is picked. Today it was Barcelona.

This process is repeated for all the group runners-up in bowl A to create the full draw.

Yeah... And then quarters hopefully will be Atletico vs Juve & PSG vs Bayern with the Spanish knocking the Italians out and the Parisians knocking the Germans out

If Juve could take care of Bayern that'd be a massive boost to our chances honestly :)

( I'm guessing they're thinking the same about Arsenal, but with less hope haha )

Arsenal fans on Twitter acting arrogant as usual.. saying Messi won't score against Cech or that Suarez never scored against them either.. Ozil and Sanchez to run riot..whatevs. Don't they know Wenger is still their manager

Cech can't save Arsenal.
He will end up Messi Inie. Then after the second leg his head will be bowed >> " Suarez guys I did my best"

If juve could take care of bayern then they would probably take care of us as well, lol. :busquets:

juve took care of ancelotti's real when not many expected them to. i don't think this current bayern is that much superior to last year's real and juventus while starting shaky, have grown back to their level in recent months

Juventus are looking as though they will improve. It could be a tough game for Bayern.

You mean two half decent teams? Chelsea are 16th in the premier league

If both legs against Roma showed us anything it was that they aren't amazing. Madrid are clear favourites.
They were playing with out De Rossi , Salah and Gervinho in camp Nou .. They Did well to hold MSN at Roma , If so they can do it against Rm too .All they need is some luck and one scrappy goal at bernabue
