Feel happy for Dnipro! Still hoping for a Sevilla victory in the final, let's make Spanish football proud :)

lol at Napoli. I read Mr. Jackyl and Higuain missed some chances again. Not really going forward to witness his heroic misses at Copa America again.

You can never count on pipita when it matters.. though Dnipro's GK has been amazing in both legs.

So Sevilla - Dnipro it is then, hopefully Sevilla maintains the title and gets into CL next year, I like this team :)

Lol and they said it will be an all Seria A final :D They did a decent job i guess, juventus in final and 2 team in EL semifinal. Good job i guess.

If Emery underestimates Dnipro, we are done. It's a European final after all, even if you send Elche there you might be surprised for the bad if you underestimate them. Dnipro seem to be quite a decent side, eliminating Napoli is not an easy thing to do.

Anyway though, I would like to meet Barca in the Uefa Supercup in August.

They have eliminated Olympiacos and Ajax aswel.

I think Dnipro will cause a shock. It's never easy entering a final as huge favourites.

I think Dnipro will cause a shock. It's never easy entering a final as huge favourites.

Dnipro barely got through the qualifying round vs Hajduk Split (2-1 on aggregate)

Then barely got out of the group stage (Internazionale easily topped the group) ahead of Qarabaq and Saint-Etienne, with only 7 points (2 wins, one draw, 3 defeats)

Then eliminated Olympiacos 4-2 on aggregate in the Last 32 stage (Olympiacos had already won home games vs Atletico and Juventus in the CL group stage)

Then eliminated Ajax in the Last 16. 1-0 win at home, 2-1 defeat away AET. Through on away goals.

Then eliminated Club Brugge. 0-0 in Belgium, 1-0 in Ukraine.

And now Napoli in the semi-finals. Excellent knock-out run for Dnipro.

But Sevill's is far more impressive:

2 victories over Gladbach (1-0 and 2-3) in the Last 32.

2 victories over Villarreal in the Last 16 (3-1 and 1-2)

4-3 on aggregate vs Zenit in the QFs.

And an impressive 5-0 aggregate win over Fiorentina in the semis. Fiorentina btw, had a very strong run to the semifinals as well. They had already vanquished Spurs (3-1) Roma (4-1) Dynamo Kiev (3-1)

I always liked the old UEFA Cup as I do the Europa League right now. People dismissing this tournament are out of their minds. This is the only tournament that most European clubs can ever hope to win. The CL is only for the super elite with budgets upwards of 400m euros. Only a handful of (very privileged) clubs can ever hope to win the Champions League nowadays.

Last years final between Sevilla and Benfica was absolutely amazing. Lets hope this will be similar.

I'm rooting for Sevilla. Twice in a row would be brilliant
