From what I'm reading, Brazil's midfield is going to be Coutinho-Casemiro-Fred. Not that I expected Arthur (hoped so, though), but neither did I expect that United thug.

It is the national team - not the U21. It is no talent develop center to find out who in 2 or 3 years might have developed into something and who does not. The best have to play - the best of now!

Things went wrong at the World Cup. Yes. Instead of going into it with a balanced team we went in with 3 offensive minded midfielders and 2 full backs. With a counter attacking striker in a team that has the ball most of the time and against which the other teams park the double decker bus. What follows is that we cannot get any stability in it, players get nervous and make easy mistakes and Germany gets caught out on the counters, and in front we do not take risks and throw crosses into the box where nobody is or Kroos shots from far away...

Yes, there is people that blame single players who then did not function... newspapers are especially well in that.

I agree with some of your points in general.. But personally, I would've liked Boateng to be dropped for certain, I have never rated him tbh.... And Neuer too should've been a substitute and replaced with Ter stegen...Neuer was injured during most of last year and Ter Stegen was outstanding and yet Neuer started every WC game as a captain..However, I agree on the Müller part though..He has been playing well for FC Bayern recently... My problem with Löw is that he seems to be too attached to the players he picked initially..hence the reluctance to replace Neuer with TerStegen for example.. Neuer was great during the WC 2014 but that was a good 4 years ago and its probably time for a change especially when there is a equally strong keeper around.

This England team.. seriously..playing 5 at the back and Harry Kane mostly dropping deep and expecting goals?? Whenever they get the ball, they try playing out the back against a spain team despite their only goal being from a quick counter.

It’s the first match, but it’s a shame how players have a tendency to switch off and walk like they do in friendlies. That intensity by Rodrigo to lose markers for his goal.. something I wish becomes a genuine attitude towards this competition.

Well, thats because being a coach for Barca is one of the easiest coaching jobs in the world.
Basically, just keep the squad happy and thats that, because they coach themselves, as proven in the past(100 point season without a coach, basically).

Other than Pep, its difficult to rate the coaches after until they prove themselves, as we all know Barca wins league titles by default.

Every NT coach has his own men, and doesn't pick the best 22 players. It is time for people to judge NT the way they do with clubs, it is a different job.
I would have liked MATS to be starter, but I doubt it would have changed anything for them. And Neuer at 32 has at least 4 years as a starter for them and likely 6 years, there is a reason not to try another GK.

I believe you're casually trolling but that's false. Completely. Barca which coached itself (if that ever happened) was some other team. Led by the likes of Xavi, Iniesta, Puyol and not Alba/Suarez.

Anyways, it's one of the toughest jobs in football. As you can see on all of our coaches after they leave.
