I am convinced that he has blackmailed Pep in some way. He has literally not made a single play that has impressed me in all his time on Barca's first team. He isn't awful, and has improved somewhat during his time in the first team. But i cant see him peaking at a level signigicantly higher than the one he is at. I guess pep uses him because he is a squad player and is happy to be that.

he's solid enough in several positions and he's 21. he'll get better ffs.

it's unlikely he'll ever be a world-beater but he's happy to be a squad member AND he's versatile. these are both key attributes in squaddies and pep obviously likes his attitude. he could be our new o'shea. I say could, because unless we get a sensible manager in after pep (which could be as soon as next season) he'll get dropped coz he's not fancy enough.
