The best defender this season by a mile in my opinion (only Thiago Silva, Vidic and Abidal comes close)

A complete central defender who is just as good as a defensive midfielder.

If he one day wanted to leave England we should try and buy him immediately.

Imagine a Pique-Kompany pairing. Amazing.

Always liked him since his days in Anderlecht.

He is my favourite to replace Puyol together with Thiago Silva. Very complete defender who only lacks a bit of pace on the first metres.

I've said it before, if we were going to get someone to replace Puyol - either Kompany or Thiago Silva.

I assume you're referring to Vidic? Which is fair enough, in my opinion they are the top two but at the moment Kompany edges it but over the last 2-3 years then it's Vidic of course.
