He operates on the left, stop complicating things. In a 433, which is what Madrid plays, with a striker and RW Mbappe will be on the left side. In other words, even if Mbappe isn't a true LW you're not going to have Vinicius or Hazard playing on the left because that "spot" will be taken by Mbappe, whom once again operates and comes inside from the left. Simple as.

Vinicius isn't an RW, and he won't be playing as a striker either. He'll be played out of position to accommodate Mbappe or he'll get benched until he gets scick of it and asks to leave.
