Renew Inigo on a much smaller wage if he stays healthy this season or bring Tah and we are good to go, we don't need such names. Prefer buying fullbacks if we talk about defence. Araujo, Cubarsi, Christensen, Inigo/Tah + Kounde (even Eric can stay another year) is enough, we have bigger holes in attack and fullbacks.

You know what, maybe it was a blessing in disguise - sure byback is 22M, but Rennes are doing everything they can to develop him and they are actually doing very good judging on the highlights from games the played. Faye might be THE player we actually want. but to be fair to Flick he had a lot of decisions to make and every decision couldn't be 100% - we now REALLY understand we need a backup LB and Faye could play both CB and LB. So when I think about it, let him cook in Rennes and he might be the perfect player for us

That 19/20 ( was it 20/21?) injury nerfed him big time in terms of speed and athletic ability.

He was a proper force in 2017-2019.

He gets hate in England, people calling him a 'tap-in merchant' or at least just a goalscorer. I don't get it, he's constantly on the ball and dribbling and his incisive passing in the final third is brilliant and always has been.
