Vitor Roque (loaned to Real Betis)

He could have scored 2/3 tapins this game. The lad just knows how to find goalscoring opportunities.

Nice goal which he was offside and Mbappe'd it.

Got a feeling when the goals come then they won't stop, while a Betis club is his level coz- technique.

Would have scored 2 goals against Atleti if he sorted his feet out like he done on the goals against Mighty Gevora.

I actually liked him in the last LL match (forgot against who), but he seems to have some severe mental block in terms on how to put his foot right at the final moment. Was constantly involved and definitely helped Betis overall attacking play by being in right spots and, what surprised me, had good play with back against defenders, holding up the play and surprisingly intelligently developing it to his teammates. Fast and agile too. He's pretty strong physically and his dribbling/technique seem to be improving. Pelegrin prolly knows what fruit he is. His main problem is being scared to score goals, but i believe he will at some point break that barrier.

If he improves his finishing he's a good striker. He needs to do it. I just hope he keeps improving in the next games. The worst thing that could possibly happen right now is an injury or something like that. He's on good track.

From Betisweb:

Marca made clear the conditions of the Loan with Option to Purchase (LOP) of Vitor Roque at the time and the agreements between the Verdiblancos and the Azulgranas;

1st year of loan; in June 2025 3 decisions can be made;

* Real Betis can exercise the OC for 25 M and keep 80% of the player's rights with 20% for the cules.
* and if it is not exercised because the player is not convinced, he can return to Can Barça, with Real Betis keeping a % of a future sale.
* or the third, activate the clause of a 2nd year of loan, as long as Vitor has played a minimum established number of games. He already has 11 in total and scored 4 goals.

2nd year of loan; in June 2026 only 2 things can happen;

* Real Betis can exercise the OC for 27.5 M and keep 80% of the player with 20% for the culés.
* And if they don't exercise it, he will definitely return to Can Barça keeping a % of a future sale.

In no case was a buyback option stipulated by Barcelona if Real Betis exercises its.

Those complicated clauses aren't usually accurately reported tbf. Even sometimes the writings can be interpreted in different ways.

Remember Griezmann? Barca thought 2nd year option is different from buying clayse, Atletico disagreed. Eventually both negotiated a new deal

It's stupid negotiations to include any buy options anyway. Why not just a simple loan with an option to extend it for another year if everyone is happy?

Clubs don't want to develop players for you on free.
This is a common practice in Spain, and it incentives clubs to develop players as they get rewarded for it.
