And Messi has scored with his hand. A footballer with a clean record these days is a rarity, as long as he's not a complete tool I'll look past it, and Rooney is certainly talented enough to overlook a few dives.

And a few people mentioned stuff about Rooneys attitude and being angry etc- He's actually matured a lot the past 2 seasons. He rarely loses his temper; the occassional track back after losing the ball and fouling but Bojan/Pedro do that all the time so I wouldn't worry. The guys work-rate is truely amazing, he literally puts in 100 percent for his team whether their winning/losing or 5 minutes/80 minutes in. It's tough to tell if he'd be effective in La Lagi, he's good on the counter which is what most EPL teams (besides Arsenal) rely on 80 percent of the time. But as a LW, which is what we'd play him as, I can only see him being way better than Henry, counter-attacking or not. He plays really well in the center but I dont think it'd matter; same for Pato and Villa.
