that whole tournament was fishy. The way Chile won vs Uruguay and Peru with red cards for the opponents was hilarious.

- Uruguay lost cuz they couldnt keep their shit together against a fast pace possession football team that dominated them 11vs11, 11v10 & 11vs9 (full match is on Youtube). They hoped the infinite parking bus & the lonely air balls could lead them to the trophy but in reality they offered nothing as football performance in the whole tournament (2 goals in 4 matches). Red card was vicious yes, but Cavani fell for it like a kid. He was psyched out by Jara the entire match. He did it also against Suarez in a previous QF match. One big part of the game is the mental state, if you can't control it you pay hard. The other red card just show how dumb Fucile is as a player.

- Peru only scored because there was an own goal from Medel (with a legit disallowed goal from Vargas that could have been 3-1). Red card is so obvious that it doesn't need an explanation.

- Argentina was neutralized & their big players didnt show up. Chile collectively outplayed them, out ran them & out muscled them. PKs were just a reflection of the overall game.

End of story.

Chile got everything handed to them though, look at it from far away:

- easiest group
- never left santiago
- red card for opponents in 2 of 3 knockout games.

Not sure if serious:

- Every host has the easiest group in every football competition ever since the beginning of football, look it up.
- The host never leaves the capital in modern competitions.

Argentina got those in '11 and failed miserably in QF, looks like an excuse to me to use that as an argument giving the quality of their team.

**Red cards were already explained. Nobody forced Cavani, Fucile & Zambrano to go full retard, even then those cards didn't changed the structure of the game. Chile dominated those games from start to finish, had the ball, created the chances. Of course it was harder for those teams to compete with one man down in those conditions, but infractions are punished as in any sport. You see a lot of ppl complaining because they get carded easily against Barca, the reality is that since they get dominated they try to stop the game with fouls, some softer, some harder & some without the ball. A foul without the ball is an automatic red card (Zambrano), accumulations of yellow card...you know the deal (Cavani, Fucile)

Everyone can have an interpretation of their own, but the stats never lie:

- Team with the most possession.
- Team with the most goals.
- Team with less conceded goals.

Best midfielder around
Don't know why I bother staying up to watch this Argentina team time after time. It's only to pray we get some Messi magic, I guess.

I also hate that Di Maria-Agüero-Messi attack. Di Maria and Agüero are so frustrating when they play for Argentina. Selfish cunts.

Maybe Chile wins and Tata goes.
One can hope.

I don't know mate, I think it's wise to hope Argentina wins this match.

Agentina is on 5th place, only two points away from play-off.

If they take 3 points today, perhaps Tata will allow Messi to not participate against the inferior Bolivia at home.
