either the skill players aren't good enough (Rojo, Zabs) or are self-indulgent cockbags (Di Maria).

no he hasn't.
he inspires no confidence in his CB's and has shown no ability to get his defenders to stay spaced and organised. he's also very DDG-like in that he stays on his line. that's alright if you have hero CB's to clear everything out, but Argentina don't have those kinds of defenders. a more aggressive goalie like Romero (or Renny Vega up the other end) would be much more useful.
but he's hardly been the biggest problem today.
