Flick has converted the haters!
Look how optimistic this place is now. Love it.

Well, you were calling him a bum...Don't think there have been any haters.
Least he deserved after the worst run of games we had in modern times. And lets be honest he got bailed out by Real+Atletico... we still have less points per game than under Xavi last seasonWell, you were calling him a bum...
PPG is not really a useful statistic outside of any context, last season we were miles off the pace and had already lost the league mid season, we strung together wins at the backend of the season.Least he deserved after the worst run of games we had in modern times. And lets be honest he got bailed out by Real+Atletico... we still have less points per game than under Xavi last season
That being said I also continuously wished him to succeed and called him very likable. Critic? Sure. Hater? Don't think so.
Genuinely not sure how you come to this conclusion. That being said he has a vastly superior squad + injury record.
That's pure fiction. Club worked for ages on a plan for Pedri. Flick reaping the benefits now. Balde also just had 1 unfortunate injury.. poor luck for Xavi, really.Reason likes of Pedri and Balde are fit is Flick's medical staff. They didn't just magically stop with their injuries. Cubarsi was good last season. Raphinha was there too and Xavi realized too late he's been misusing him for all his time at Barça, got only himself to blame.
So your argument is essentially the same players who were there under Xavi are playing better now, therefore the squad is better.Fully fit Pedri. Yamal in teenage goat mode (made Spain brilliant to watch and best national team on the planet as well). Cubarsi a year older. Raph continuing on the path Xavi set him on (end of last season). Balde fully fit. Olmo to a lesser degree...
I could go on. What did Xavi have more of? Perpetual losers like Felix and Cancelo?
And injuries mate. It's not rocket science. So your argument is essentially the same players who were there under Xavi are playing better now, therefore the squad is better.
Well. Not sure how I can respond to that.
No, Xavi laid the foundation. Flick followed through. Both deserve credit. It seems a bit of a desperate argument to try and drag down the team's current achievements. Raphinha is 28. A 6 month difference didn't turn him into a superstar.
