To be honest, Suarez has shown all the qualities this season that we're missing up front. He can go by players with ease, his link up play is brilliant, he hassles the opposition defence constantly and crucially he has added goals to his game. People need to stop this nonsense saying he's scum and doesn't deserve to play for a club like Barca. He's a true competitor and its no harm to have players on your team who get on the opposition's nerves. (eg Dani Alves) However, its gonna be Neymar who's coming so it doesn't matter.

To be fair, Suarez's finishing isn't that great from what I've heard and his shots per goal stats. He'd definitely be a good buy if we got him though, especially if he ups his finishing. And his tendency to wind opponents up could work wonders for us in the clasicos. I still think Aguero would be better, though he'd probably be a lot harder to get. Then again, Aguero hasn't been that great this season from what I've heard...

As for Neymar, he's a risk IMO. He could turn out to be a great buy, but again, he'd be risky.

I agree that he (Suarez) is a competitor and has a High work rate that we are lacking right now. But there is a difference between being a competitor and deliberately raking your studs down the back of someones (Sylvain Distin's) achilles and then claiming you are being unfairly targeted by referees and media. Suarez is a nasty piece of work and my opinion of him wont change.
If you want to go down the Mourinho route then that's your shortcomings, but I choose NOT to win at any cost.

Have you watched much of him this season? I'm just asking this because you said "from what I've heard". I don't mean any offence by the way. He has scored 21 goals in 27 games in the premier league this season in a team that is challenging for a Europa league spot....he has been very clinical in front of goal. There was a case to be made against his finishing last season but even at that he was pretty unlucky, he hit the post a ridiculous amount of times as far as I remember.

I agree about Neymar. He could be a world beater or he could be the next Robinho. By the way, I think people are a tad bit harsh on Robinho when judging his career. Sure he never got anywhere close to living up to 'the next Pele' tag, but he has been a pretty good player and there have been times where he has been immense for Brazil (Copa America 2007).

Players have flaws. Suarez has shown his flaws in the past but they aren't atrocious, certainly not enough to justify not signing him. This 'holier than thou' image that projected by some Barca fans does more harm than good. Of course we should strive to play the game in the fairest way possible but to consider ourselves of a higher moral fibre than other clubs constantly is ridiculous.
