Undoubtedly but what if pushing on two fronts will be like chasing two rabbits thus getting none?

If Barca focuses entirely on LL imo it's highly likely they'll make it to top four. Going strong in EL too doesn't worth the risk of losing top four in LL for me and winning EL looks quite a far shot atm.
