I’m jumping on the Allegri bandwagon. I feel he is someone who would command respect in the locker room. We need someone who will bench the incumbents if needed. Allegri has been to two Champions league finals after all. He has the experience. We haven’t had a proven manager in a while.

No Barca DNA but maybe we need to try something outside of the box for this one.

Koeman hasn't really impressed in club football as a coach but has done well with the Netherlands so far, but I do think he would be true to Barca's philosophy and he is a big character that won't be dominated by the players.

My favourite personally, given the circumstances and that we are looking for someone bold and knowing of the club culture. Someone to get the most of the remaining seniors (hopefully one or two go) and bleed in the hot talents before Elections in two seasons.

hmmm somehow I dont see Martinez as our next manager as these reports suggest. He has Euro next year and somehow I doubt he'll want to leave before an important tournament especially considering its a huge risk for his career seeing as he might fail in here.

Thing with Bob is that he will probably know that it is now or never in regards to the Barcelona job. I say if an offer comes in he takes it. I imagine Henry as assistant would be great for the development of attacking talents like Dembele and Malcom- if they stay.

Don't judge Henry too much from his stint at Monaco either. Rijkaard had a worse record at Rotterdam before joining us. Even getting them relegated.

Blanc would be interesting, I thought he would make a top class manager when he was at Bordeaux but it hasn't worked out for him, though he did well at PSG, I would be ok with him getting the job.

Had a season with us as well so knows the club. Not my favourite but good statistically.

Maybe there is not a world class manager available (there are only a handful right now), but there are some interesting outliers like Leo Jardim who would be pretty attainable if we broadened our search.

Martinez? Fuck.

We need a big personality. Someone who isn't afraid to ruffle feathers. The board keeps hiring wimps because they don't want to upset the players.

I like Allegri too. His Milan team were good to watch anf and Juve before Ronaldo were a younger, better and more balanced team. He's better than Valverde.

Sarri, Jardim are interesting but the board won't take any risks.

aleggri lol mourinho v2 we need new blood stop with this nonsense, in that pool i only take arteta nothing more all others coaches are shit. TEN HAG OR SARRI FAST BARTOMEU RETARD

Sarri OK. Ten Hag NO!

He did nothing while Spurs kept launching long balls to Llorente in the Ajax box.

Sarri would be interesting. I think he would improve us. Ten Hag would be like Van Gaal. Some good football mixed with shitty results.

At least no Allergri, he showed us this year he has no spine as well with regards how his team plays with/without Ronaldo.
He wasted a good playing Dybala for an old player who only cares about himself. The whole team chemistry has gone since Ronaldo joined Juve.

I won't trust him managing the likes of Suarez, Rakitic & Busquets in terms of favouring younger players when they are better.

The problem was that we have attacking players and a manager that plays defensive, why tf would we sign Allegri just making it worse

None of the candidates convince me all that much. Martinez and Koeman did/do decent jobs but it's not like their teams really impressed with either results or good looking football. Considering the quality Belgium played quite dull looking football and Netherlands too tbh. The "new generation" there got hyped up and how they are rebuilding but it's really not that amazing.

Setien never managed a big name or won anything in his life so hard to predict. Betis played good looking football but playing nice and having moderate success with a small team is one thing, managing Barca is a whole other story.

Also not really convinced by Allegri. He has class and experience but i doubt he really fits in, especially if we want to see more Barca style football again.

But tbh since the alternative is Valverde i would be fine with almost all names that were mentioned that far since i don't think it can get much worse. With any new coach there is at least the chance it'll look better and the seniors get benched where with Valverde it's 100% locked down that nothing would change. All of these are good enough to field Messi so something like Madrid this season is almost impossible anyway.
