Abidal is the most impressive player I have ever seen live.

Calmest defender I have ever seen and was one step ahead of everyone else in how he read the game.

Unfortunately, I've never seen a competitive football game live, only a couple of friendlies (both Brazil) and no great performances.

I have, however, watched quite a few live basketball games in my time, and Dwyane Wade and LeBron James are mightily impressive to watch live.

Same. The only game I've ever watched live was the friendly between Spain and South Africa where Valdes got injured for the first time last season
