Valverde is right now the safest and best option IMO. Blanc is a twat in my eyes and not very good tactically, Unzue is just Lucho vol 2 and Tuchel is not coming, also I'm not sure how would he deal with egos in our team.

Not sure why people consider Valverde to be a safe option. He is yet another high risk option in my opinion. Has he ever managed an elite club? He also has limited champions league experience. Valverde will be taking over a team where the expectation is to win. Simply playing good football in not good enough.

He might be a safer option than Unzue, but I believe that Allegri is actually the safest option taking all factors into consideration.

Yeah, I would love Allegri but he won't leave Juve. Barca fans and Catalan press would just give him grief.

He might win a treble this season. If Juventus do that Allegris hand would be strengthened and they will probably sign some good players.

It is a safe option FOR THE BOARD.
If they sign an outsider and we have a Tata like season the fans will scream for blood. The Catalan media and fans always cut Barca DNA more slack.

How do we eve know what will be our identity and what influences we will have to sign players if we do not know who our coach will be next year ?!?!

Will it be valverde? will he be able to sign some of his older players?

Yes but im worried... If as they claim and do not want to announce before copa final because it is disrespectful for Enrique then it hints to being Unzue... And i dont like that.. Why would the announcement of any other coach be disrespectful unless it was his assistant...

On another note, if we the announcement is made on the 27th, we should have a week of transfer news following this... if not we are in trouble!

If I am not mistaken, I believe that Valverde has made about 22 appearances for the club. He has as much Barca DNA as Alex Song. I do however agree with you, for some reason Valverde is regarded as being an insider rather than an outsider. Although I do not really see why.

There's only Iker Muniain who kinda appeals to me but he's not high on my wish list
