play marquez as CB and play toure alongside busquets to help in midfield. its simple, clog the midfield and arsenal won't have a chance to run at rafa to expose him. but who knows, pep clearly hates toure for whatever reason, so who knows what twisted combination he's going to come up with. one thing's for sure, yaya should NOT start as a cb because that's not his position, and if he has a bad game, it'll give the yaya haters a chance to start crying

All they have to do is play on ball in the air anywhere near marquez and its prolly a gol... im telling you man at the moment fontas would do better

Yep, Fontas would actually be my 2nd choice after Yaya for partnering Milito, especially considering how similar Fontas and Piqué are. Marquez would be somewhere below playing Henry at centre back.

I have no faith in Márquez. They're bound to put him under some level of pressure regardless of whether we try to protect him or not. I don't trust him to do a simple job. So Yaya would be a better option, in my opinion.

We have the advantage, Arsenal was afraid to attack us even in London so we play as much defensive minded players as possible. Marquez is a massive gamble but playing both Marquez AND Yaya means more players who are able to defend. I just wish Abidal was healthy to add another defensive body in there.

if Abidal featured on the game against Bilbao I'd like to see him partner Milito. If not then I hope it's Yaya.

Maquez. More experience... and in this second leg, the important is keep the advantage... now become the time to put everyone playing and give some rest to the principal players (but in this case, by another reason, of course).

Very very tough decision here for Pep to make. Personally I would think that it would be safer to put Yaya in DM to protect the back line. But then, that's what I said last year, and instead Pep put Yaya in CB and it turned out absolutely brilliantly..

Well if Busquets was out, I would support that idea, but he's not and he can handle himself at DM as we know. Yaya, like I and many others have said, is the closest thing we have to Pique. Pique's style of defending and his style on the ball is absolutely perfect for our system, he is god in human form. Yaya has a similar stride, and perhaps a little more pace and his strength and hieght are again the same. Importantly, although Marquez is also awesome at it, he can pass the ball very, very well.

I'm confident that playing alongside Milito, he'll feel very comfortable, Milito is a very intelligent defender, positions himself well and often makes crucial interceptions, tackles and blocks just as Puyol does. We'll be fine with them two at the back.

Its just too much of a gamble. Rafa hasn't hardly played and one mistake and we are out.

Play:

Alves-Yaya-Milito-Max/Abid
---------Sergi------------

Remember with Xaviesta controlling the game, they will have about 3 half chances before 60mins when Walcott comes on.
Hopefully by then we are 3 goals up becase we know what happened in the 1st leg...
